Dr. Katalin Sipos

"In 2003, I graduated from the University of Veterinary Sciences. Since childhood, I have been drawn to the veterinary profession. I consciously prepared for this career from elementary school, knowing I would be healing animals. After high school, I immediately secured a place at the university.

During my university years, I regularly visited the Nyíregyháza Animal Hospital to learn and assist. It is there that I absorbed the basics of veterinary healthcare. I have always been interested in alternative medicine. I prefer natural medicinal products and am open to trying new alternative treatment methods. I integrate those I find useful into my treatment protocols. After graduation, I worked as an employed veterinarian at the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Animal Hospital until 2009. I learned a lot and gained extensive work experience.

Since 2009, I have established my own business, running several veterinary clinics alongside my rural veterinary practice. The workforce shortage has affected our profession as well, so I had to close several of my rural clinics. Currently, I run a small animal clinic in the city center of Nyíregyháza, as well as a smaller clinic at our home in Nyírpazony.

Our profile includes basic outpatient care and soft tissue surgeries, supplemented with alternative treatments. When deemed appropriate, I also apply herbal-based dietary supplements and homeopathic remedies in my treatments. In 2007, I passed the international homeopathic veterinary exam and am involved in the operation of the Alternative Veterinary Medicine Section of the Hungarian Veterinary Chamber.
